Things to see and do in and around La Palmyre
There’s plenty to do in the area around campsite Palmyre Loisirs with Mobil-home XXL.
La Palmyre is famous for its zoo, one of the largest in Europe. But that’s not all: come and discover the village of Talmont, theIle d’Oléron, the Cordouan lighthouse and the famous Fort Boyard.
We also recommend a visit to the Meschers caves, 30 km from the campsite.
The magnificent Forêt de Coubre national park lies on the peninsula separating the Gironde from the oyster beds of Marennes. It’s an ideal area for cycling and walking, while remaining close to the sea.
And don’t forget the charming town of Royan, from where you can take a boat to Port Bloc, on the other side of the Gironde estuary.
The region is also ideal for water sports.
Arrival : from 4:00 pm. For arrivals after 7:00 pm, please contact us on 02 51 76 07 60. Departure : between 8:00 and 10:00 am (by appointment). On arrival, you will be greeted by a dedicated Mobil-Home XXL representative. You will receive his or her contact details 48 hours before your arrival by SMS.
Pets allowed under certain conditions (1 per mobile home; supplement payable on site, rates vary according to campsite; category 1 and 2 dogs not allowed; pets may not be left alone in mobile homes; please bring up-to-date vaccination certificate).
Television included (XXL 2)
Deposit : 350 € for the mobile home + 115 € for the cleaning of a Mobil-Home XXL and 150 € for a Mobil-Home XXL 2 (payment by cheque/cash/credit card imprint).
Capacity: up to 10 people (including babies)
